About me
I take photographs as an enthusiast. I've taken landscape photos for many years, and as time has passed I've become more interested in wildlife photography and also our built environment. Currently I'm getting more into portrait photography, and I'll be putting some of these pictures up on the site when I get the chance.
I work on sustainable development policy as a profession. After a period with an environmental consultancy, I'm now doing a PhD looking at how patterns of overwork and overconsumption impact on our wellbeing and the environment, and how working time reduction could help both these things. I've also worked for the Scottish Government on green product design. There's more about all this on my University webpage.
